I'm liking these nicknames...
WDTO Marlo as a nn for Margaret or Marceline? I also love the nn "Kit" and "Liv." Can you think of a fn for these. First that came to my mind were Katherine and Olivia. Any other ideas?

Thanks
Kit could be a nn for any of the Kate- or Kath- names really and as its also a nn for CHristopher, it would work for Christine and names such as that. Lavinia is the only name I can think of that Liv would work for other than Olivia. Marlo isn't really my style but Kit is the best nn.

You could use Kit as a nickname for Christine (it's traditionally been used as a nickname for Christopher, after all). I do like Katherine (or Katerina, Katrina etc) nn Kit, and another option is Keturah.
Liv works well for Olivia or Olive, or for any of their variations, such as Liviana, or for the Jewish names Livna and Livnat.
Marlo isn't my style as a nickname for a girl, as it's too similar in sound to Marlow, a very masculine-sounding surname which I associate with the Elizabethan playwright Christopher Marlowe. I prefer Meg, Peggy or Gretta for Margaret, and depending on how you're pronouncing Marceline (mar-seh-LEEN or MAR-seh-lin), I'd use Lina, Linnie or Lillie.
