I don't like the "eye" sound it ends with. And it reminds me of rabid Evangelicals.

I like it, but I wouldn't use it myself.

I like it, but it isn't one I would use. I'd still like to see others use it though.

It's a rather common first name, but I like it better on someone with a Levi (priest) background. Oh, and the English prononciation is REALLY hideous lol

I really like it....don't really care about the jeans reference...I still like it.

You might have already noticed but there are two unfortunate anagrams of the name Levi ("Vile" and "Evil"). =/ Although I wouldn't use it myself, I think its handsome, has a good history and I think it would age very well. =)

Yes, I noticed that. I am bored with my boys' names at the moment and am looking for something refreshing. I am particularly fond on literary and historical names. I also love L-names for boys (Lawrence, Leo, Leander, Lorcan, Leonides etc.) Levi works well as a mn so I will probably end up integrating it into a combo somewhere. Thanks for your insightful comments.

I love it for either gender though I would only use it as a boy's MN.

Levi is a name I really wouldn't mind seeing, but I wouldn't use it myself. I like that its short and fun, but not too nny. It would age really well, and the -i ending would be cool to hear amongst common -n endings. I'm not really a person for matching sibsets, but I think Levi fits in nicely with your names. How nice would a Levi and Grace be? I say very :)

Aww Levi and Grace would be cute together.

It's ok I guess, but reminds me of the Jewish surname, or of the jeans brand. Possibly it might work better as a middle name.

Ditto about the pants =P

I personally like the name Levi.
I say go with it.
It's cute for a kid & can also become a mature name too!
