It reminds me of GG, too. m

But I like it for that reason, since I love the character on the show. :PI think Rufus goes wonderfully with Scarlett, and the meaning is subtle enough to be cute with feeling cheesy when the two are placed side-by-side. Rufus Gordon Campbell is a little aristocratic sounding, but it still feels down-to-earth and pleasant enough to balance any stuffiness. It gets a thumbs up from me.ETA: It also reminds me of Rufus Wainwright, who I don't have any particular association with except that his sister sang a beautiful song with one of my favorite bands, Snow Patrol. So I guess that makes him cool by association, lol.

When I heard it on Gossip Girl I was wondering whether it would start to rise in popularity.I think it is safe at the moment and I do like the name. I think Rufus and Scarlett work well together.
