WDYTO Kenyon?

Most definitely not old fashioned, imo.
Kenyon has several aspects that scream fad name of today, even if it isn't currently a hit. It starts with a K, ends in the -en sound (-an, -in, -on), is a surname, a place name, and contains a "y." It may not be a top ten name, but it follows all the fashions of names that will sound terribly dated, tied to this decade, down the line.

I kind of like it, though it brings to mind a negative association; it was the son in the family that was murdered in In Cold Blood. It gives me sort of an eerie feeling, but maybe that's why I like it. :-) Also, IIRC, the kid was kind of nerdy, so that's the image that comes to mind.

Way too surnamey. For me furthermore, It doesn't particular help that in my former university there was a "Kenyon building".
I think it sounds like canyon and definately has all the factors of a trendy name.
It's not really a trendy name, actually. Please, do tell me these "factors".
Trendy factors:
1) Goes along with the -en, -on, -an trend.
2) Goes with the Y in names trend.
Therefore, trendy.

And it starts with K, too.
We're just dumpin' em on!
LOL, yep!
It's also a surname/place name.
The name itself isn't popular, but I'd still call it trendy because it follows several current naming trends.

Yes.
I find it rather old-fashioned.(
What characteristics of it make you find it old-fashioned?
Since they told the factors that made it trendy :) I can't see anything about it that's old fashioned.
Except maybe that it's lacking a long vowel.
Personally I think the K sells the trendy factor.

It's like Kenton, sort of. I honesty don't think a 'k' in a name makes it automatically trendy. I don't see it as being trendy at ALL.
But you asked for opinions
And they were given.
No need to argue about it.

Agreed
Just because you ask for opinions and don't like that a lot of people think the name follows trendy 'markings' doesn't mean we aren't right.

I wasn't arguing! Just saying MY opinion.
