I pronounce it or-RAY-ganYes it is a real name actually, It's my brother in law's surname, and he is french, from Brittany. As english speakers the family pronounce it or-RAY-gan, but the ehur sound you are trying to describe is a typically french sound so i doubt anyone else on here would have gotten that. I think this name is much prettier than Reagan, i think it means something to do with gold/royalty/noble birth.

Sounds like someone is trying to make fantasy names Eragon and/or Aragorn kre8ive to me.

Oregon / Oregano. That's all I can think of. This is a French name? Really? I love the name Auberon for a boy, but Auregan for either gender is beyond my powers, sorry.
