Re: Nicholas vs. Christopher

I've never been a fan of Nicholas. No idea why, it just doesn't seem very appealing to me. And the name seems destined to always be shortened to Nick or Nicky, which imo are the most boring, predictable nn's of all time. =/
Christopher, however, is lovely. It's beautiful and easy to say and not the least bit harsh. I love that it's long and three syllables, and the -pher sound at the end is awesome. Plus it has many, many nn possibilities all in which I love. Chris, Topher, Kit... the list goes on. But if I were to use the name I wouldn't shorten it to anything because I love saying Christopher!
