Urs. Well, Ursula is in my top ten for a girl. Urs I would pronounce as "erce."

Conall - KUN-all, I love it and would definitely consider using it
Desmond - nah, reminds me of my primary school principal
Urs - I'd pronounce it as it looks and I don't like it

I pronounce Conall "CON-ahl" - I think it's a nice alternative to Connor, which has become extremely popular here. I prefer the spelling "Connall", however.

I would pronounce "Urs" as "UHRS". It sounds a bit too much like a random sound to be a name to me. ;-)

Conall - Con-ull I think. It's ok, I like it better than Conor.
Desmond - Lovely, like the nn Desi or Dezi. To me it's very British.
Urs - Like Ursula perhaps. I prefer Mathuin to this.

Desmond -well, this is the name of a child I have in one of my script. He's about 12, lives in the "American ghetto", and get's killed in a drive-by shooting. Desi for short. I like the nn, but not Desmond. Too close to Diamond.

Urs ...well, I'd pronounce it as it looks. Nmsaa though. Ur was a place in Iraq (?) a long time ago so that's all I think about.

Urs - How would you pronounce this? - I would pronounce it as I would the start of the name Ursula that is as it is written Urs I dont like it
