Eva/Ava/Iva
I'm starting to like 3 letters *va names more and more.
Which would be your favorite, between
Eva
Ava
Iva
?Bear in mind that I'm French, and they are prononced e-vah, ah-vah and ee-vah for us, contrary to Englidh ee-vah, ay-vah and ie-vah.

AvaI adore AH-vah. It's so much prettier than AY-vah. Eva is nice too but EH-vah sounds weird to me. I like EE-vah but Iva (I'm used to EYE-vah, which I hate) looks so dated and ugly.

EvaEva all the way, it just seems to much more sophisticated but still cute (that makes no sense!) Ava is too cutesey and very common. Iva can be unfortunate depending on the sirname (I've a...) and I don't think it looks v nice.

Usually, I'd go with Ava but based on pronunciation, I'll go with Eva. I think it sounds prettier in French than the other two names.

I prefer Eva and oddly enough I don't prefer the English pronunciation.

For you Eva, which I love but wouldn't work outside of Quebec in Canada, and for me Ava :)

Ava is definitely my favorite. I prefer the look of it, though I pronounce it "ay-vuh"

It would have to be Iva for me then because in English I adore Eva. It's my all time favourite (but only as a nickname for the glorius Evangeline!)

Eva is the best. Ava I like, but its become soooo popular. I dont like Iva as much as I do Ivy.

I'm not sure what the difference is in your pronounciation of Iva and Eva?
Either way, I like the 'ev-ah' or 'ee-vah' sound, spelled as Eva, the best.

Iva is like "seat", Eva is like "set".

Of the French pronunciations, I like Iva (ee-vah) the best.

Of your pronunciations, I prefer Iva, but I don't much care for any of them. On the whole, -va names don't really do it for me. Too trendy around here.Array

AvaAva. It's beautiful and rare. (and I love Alva, which is very close)Eva is too overused and religious (where I live anyway - but I do prefer it to the french Ève which is just ugly ;) and Iva doesn't sound nice to me (like the english pronunciation of Eva >.< )My favorite 3 letter names are Aya and Rei/Ray ^^

Eva - Nms - some time ago there was a Eva-craze at the BTN: in every poll figured Eve, Evangelina, Evie, Eva, Evelyn, Evangeline etc. now I'm pretty sick of it.
Ava - Dislike it, especially with the pronounciation ah-vah (My native pronounciation as well)
Iva - Gorgeous, in Russian it means "willow tree". It was some time even on my PNL.Of course I prefer Iva!

Eva is the one I like best. Ava is nice too. The problem is that I gather it's monstruously popular in the US, but presumably this wouldn't matter too much for you, since you don't live there?I've never cared much for Iva, in either pronounciation.

Definitely Eva but I actually like Eve most of all- Ava is pretty too but very popular. I'm not keen on Iva- would like Ivy better.

With the French pronunciations, I like Iva best.

Just for personal reasons, I like Eva best, I had a favourite aunt named that.
Iva-again personal-had a dorm-mate who *stole* from everyone.
Ava, pretty, but used quite a lot currently, though perhaps not in France.
