Basil
One of my friend's favorite names for a guy so I don't want to get too attached but do you like it more for a guy or a girl? Do you like it at all? wdyt?
edit-not the same friend as last post. She wants to change her name to Misty (gag) so how do you think that goes with the names?
how about Olivia, Alice, Esme, Edmund, etc?

I love it for boys only. I like Basilia and Basilissa for girls (Greek feminine forms)
I think Basil is more masculine sounding. I don't care for the name. But I like the spice haha lol.
me too yummy
I love it for both genders equally
Basil is definately a male name, but it seems like an old British man to me, not a kid or even a person of this generation. But it is unusual without being totally unheard of/wierd, which earns points with me.
How does she say it-- BAH-zil or BAY-zil?

I say it like the spice is pronounced (BAY-zil)
