Leigh and Hilda
I know Leigh is VERY common but it mostly as a mn so what do you think of it as a first? Do you have any suggestions for mns? Also, do you like the names Hilda, Rose, Henrietta, Gromelda and Glinda for first names? Any mn suggestions? Thanks *{*.*Mizzchable*.*}*

Leigh Anne is all I can think of.

I like the name Leigh, and I prefer that spelling for a girl and Lee for a boy.
I like Rose and Henrietta as first names, but I think Hilda is very old-fashioned and Gromelda just sounds ugly. Glinda is very pretty, but it would always make me think of the witch in the Wizard of Oz.

I only like Leigh as a first...I love that name.
And Rose is best as a middle since it is so used.
I just don't like the other names at all.

I think Leigh is ok as fn but it is too short for my taste. I would pair it with a long mn, like Bethany.I prefer Mathilda (possible nn Hilda) to Hilda as formal name. Rose is pretty though as fn I prefer something longer, like Rosalie, Rosalind or Rosemary. I like Henrietta, what about Henrietta Lee or Henrietta Rose? Glinda sounds like a witch from the land of Oz. And Gromelda sounds like a female troll. I prefer Grizelda, nn Zelda."You sought a flower and found a fruit. You sought a spring and found a sea. You sought a woman and found a soul. You are disappointed."

I prefer the spelling Lee, only because it looks more legitimate to me (even if it's not). I am not a huge fan of Hilda, Gromelda, and Glinda, but I love Rose and Henrietta.
