I'm writing a story right now. Well, actually I'm just beginning. Anyway, I'm looking for the main characters' names. The story is taking something totally real and making it into fiction.

The real guy's name is Robert nn Bobby. The real girl's name is Dorothy. I'm looking for two totally different names. I was thinking Theodore and Clara (or Clarice). It sort of switches the names around.

Dorothy --> Theodora --> Theodore
Robert --> meaning "bright fame" --> Clara

If you have anything better, I'm pretty open. Since I haven't really begun, the names haven't really taken hold yet.

But maybe you'd like to know what the two characters look like ... and other things?

Robert/Bobby/Theodore/? is tall, kind of big in frame, with dark hair and brown eyes. He works on a farm. Also, a football player. He remains quiet most of the time, but when he talks, it usually means something.

Dorothy/Clara/Clarice/? is sort of tall, with curly dark brown-red hair. Her eyes are blue. She's really smart in school but studied to get that way. She also doesn't care what anyone thinks. Her main goal in life is to be a chemist or something that deals with science.
