Odelia
The name Odelia / Audelia is rather popular for girls 10-20 in my community.
See http://www.behindthename.com/submit/view.php?name=audelia for more explanations on the names.
Which one do you prefer? Do you like it?I used to find it rather pretty, but now I'm a bit fed up. I find Audelia classier, but maybe unnecessarily complicated.

It's ok, but a bit overwrought. I prefer Odile.

I prefer the spelling Odelia. It looks prettier and less complicated. I think it's a gorgeous name.

Both names seem attractive in their own ways how do you pronounce them.
Odelia I have heard as Oh-DEE-lee-uh and OH-deel-yah ( I am not very good at pronounciations I am afraid so hope you understand what I am trying to write)
Audelia I havent come across before though the pronounciation is listed as o-del-yah

Both are prononced the same. In French, e is never ee, and a is never uh ;)

I can see the appeal, especially with the popularity of Olivia. I think I prefer Odelia to Audelia just because of its simplicity. It does remind me of some old lady Acadian/Cajun names where I live (South Louisiana) like Odile and Clothilde.
