Since I'm Italian, I can't see much beyond it than the Italian version of Elijah (incidentally, it's not common at all). However, it depends on how you prounounce it. The Italian version is pronounced Eh-lEE-ah, possilby pronounced EH-lee-ah with the stress on the first syllable it would look more feminine and nice enough.
