Nicknames for Abigail
What kind of nicknames for Abigail can you come up with? I have a friend with that name and she wants an alternative to Abby/Abbie/Abbey/etc.

Gail?
Gail?
Bebe
I have a friend named Abigail and sometimes I call her Abs.
You could also call her Gail, though it isn't really nnish imo.

Abigail Adams, the second first lady of the US, was called Nabby. Besides that and Abby, the only one I can think of is Gail.
I have heard of "Gibby" as a nickname for Abigail.
Al/Allie? Since it starts with A and ends with L...
I could see that being too much of a stretch for some, though. ;)

How about Bea or Bee? It's a stretch but could work.
Other than Abby or Gail the only somewhat obvious one I can find would be Bebe, which is kind of baby-ish.
Perhaps a combo of her first name and middle name? Or a pet name derrived from something from the personality of the Abigail in question?
Could I suggest the hebrew Avigail instead? Call her Avi(which is technically a boy's name, but as a nn I'm sure it's fine on a girl)?
A long time ago I had a friend named Abigail (Abby) who talked- a LOT. When she would talk during class and I was trying to pay attention I used to call her Blabby. Not particularly nice or creative, but there you have it.
