Lyric
I'm seeing the name Lyric popping up more and more in combos in the recent weeks. Is it getting more popular around here? When I first mentioned it when I got here in January/February, people said it stuck out like a sore thumb. What do you think?

I like the name myself.
I like Lyric, but it's more like a GP, though admittedly, I enjoy it on a boy and not a girl.
I like Lyric as a MN for a girl, but I wouldn't use it. It's not appealing enough for me to actually use it. I think it has more appeal written then spoken.
I think this would be different if I actually knew someone named Lyric, but I can't see a 30y.o named Lyric or a tween. Just doesn't seem "right".

It seems like lots of people here like the name, but I just don't see the appeal. I'm ok with word names (I like plenty myself), but when you think about it, Lyric is such a random word to use as a name. It just doesn't seem name-ish in the least.
ETA: I also hate how the end is like "ick"

Lyric Isabella has always been on the top of my girls list!
I have always liked it for a boy's first name as a girl's mn. It's on my own list for a boy.
I love Lyric. I think it's beautiful.
