WDYT of Cadence?
WDYT of Cadence? It's a bit of a guilty pleasure for me, and I know that it's a bit trendy right now, but I still like it.Not sure if I would ever actually use it, but WDYT of Cadence Ruth?

I greatly dislike it. It is a musical term to me, not a name, and probably just came out of "American Pie", a classless film IMO. No thank you! ;)

It reminds me of hours and hours of marching band practice. Not my cup of tea, sorry.

I'm sorry, but I can't stand this name. It sounds so tacky to me and literally makes me cringe when I hear it. Sorry to be so blunt, but this name is a pet peeve for me.

I love Cadence. I'm lucky as it's unheard of where I live, and therefore not trendy here ... I hope it stays that way :-)Cadence Ruth is OK. I'm not a fan of Ruth, but I know it's a family name, and it does sound nice after Cadence._____________________________________________________________________Elinor"Actually, guns do kill people. I love Ruth .Cadence is a bit off and boyish to me.

I find it trendy right now, but I'd heard it years ago and disliked it then, too. It's a music term to me (or a military one) and not even a 'pretty' word imo. Now it makes me think of a child of lower class parents (i.e. live in a trailer, etc.).

Guilty pleasure here too. Well, considering my taste, I don't even have to call it a guilty pleasure. It does disapoint me that it is more popular right now, but it doesn't dissuade me from liking it.Cadence Ruth is very nice. Btw, today I met an Olivia Ruth it reminded me of you. All Ruths do these days. :)-Seda*

I think it's cute. I'm not crazy about the Ruth part but it flows well with Cadence.

I love Ruth, but Cadence is not a name to me. I also don't like the sound.

I like Melody, but for some reason I can't wrap my mind around Cadence. I don't not like it, but I don't like it either. It sounds nice with Ruth though.

I don't like it at all. As others have mentioned it seems too trendy, too much like Caden and reminds me of a drum cadence.

There is a woman on another name board with a daughter named Caydi, Cady reminded me of that. Strangely I think I like those two more so than Katie :-/

Sorry. I don't care for it. It brings to mind military marching bands and drum corps. That, and the ultra-trendy name Caden / Kaden.Could I interest you in the name Clemence?

I've never been fond of Cadence, but Cadence Ruth flows very nicely.
