Ottilia

Oh, Slight add.
I pronounce it
Oh-till-ee-ah.
Nothing like Atilla.

This is my middle name [otillia, version slightly varied]
Tell him that is sounds elegant, and she was the patron saint of the blind.

What is it today? Everyone is bringing up beloved names of mine that I thought no one else liked? I'm the only one allowed to have good taste in names. Stop it.
While Ottilia is new to me, Ottilie (with the stress on the first syllable) and Ottoline ("OTT-uh-leen") are dear to my heart. And I've recently fallen in love with Odile.
Ottilia is so good I'm adding it to my long list. Don't be surprised if you see it cropping up in a list of suggestions on another thread. ;-)
Perhaps your dh could get into Ottilie, nn Tillie?

I'm sorry, but I agree with your boyfriend
I know they aren't the same, but they are similar.
