Personally I like Freya, I think it would work better in English speaking countries, and I think it's prettier without the j. But if you're Icelandic it might be more personal (or make more sense) to use Freyja. I think it just depends on what you want. But it's a very pretty name either way.

I really like this name too. I prefer the spelling Freya because i think it might look confusing with both "Y"s and people might say Frey-Ya with two ys. It really depends on whether you are into the personal aspect or the way the name looks written down more.
