WDYTO Hannah?
I've recently been thinking about adding Hannah to my PNL. What are your thoughts, opinions, etc. on the name?
Also, any sibling suggestions? (One brother, one sister, please.)

I love it! It has such a nice sound to it. I love all the names that have anna in it such as Hannah, Anna, Jana, Susanna, Diana, etc. People I know with anna names sometimes are called -ana Banana as a nickname from friends which they like.

I think it's a gorgeous name, popularity be darned. I'd name a sister Sophia and a brother Jacob.

Hannah is nice, but I prefer Anna.

I've never cared for the name Hannah, but if its popularity doesn't bother you, it's a good and solid (if dull) biblical name.

For sibs, I'd pick Ezra and Rachel.

Well... to be perfectly honest, Hannah really really bores me. In the way that Sarah and Rachel do. Just because they've been used so much, unlike Sarah and Rachel though, I don't even really like Hannah as a name.

I love the name Hannah, although I personally prefer it for a mn. I think Joel and Chloe sound nice with Hannah.

I know that Hannah has become extremely popular but I really can't stand it. Maybe it's just part of my general prejudice against names that begin with H. Or maybe it's because every time I hear it, I think of chicken soup, which I hate. I have no idea why that association is in my mind. At any rate, I can't stand the name.

I never cared for the name, but then some family friends had a little girl and named her Hannah. She is adorable, and because of her I've grown to like it. I've gone back and forth with liking it and wanting to use it, and I think I've finally landed on "nice for someone else to use". She has an adopted brother who was renamed Aaron (he is originally from Russian and had a Russian name that was really unheard of here).

It's a good name, and a classic, but it's become a bit trendy over the last 10-20 years. Depends on how much you're concerned with that.

Hannah is very nice. It's been overly used for the last couple of decades, though. But if you don't mind that, then add away.Hannah always makes me think of a simple, kind, hard-working country girl. It has "salt of the earth" written all over it. I still suggest it as a mn sometimes. I like to use mega-popular names like Hannah or Emily or Emma as mns. People don't expect it.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Hannah. We named my daughter Hannah back before the popularity boom of the late '90's/early 00's. I would not say it's 'trendy'. It's a biblical name which will stand the test of time. It just happened to get popular b/c it is so beautiful. My favorite boy sib names for Hannah are Matthew, Caleb or Joshua.
Sister names would be Leah, Emma, Elizabeth and Abigail. It's a great name, go for it!
