Saira
I've like Sarah nn Sairy for quite a while, but I've recently (well, today) discovered that Saira exists. However, in the comments section there were two different pronunciations discussed: SIGH-ra and SAIR-a. I can't decide how I'd want to pronounce it (or how it's correctly pronounced, if anyone knows furshur). Also, if I pronounced it like SIGH-ra, would it be better/easier to just spell it Cyra? Thanks guys. :)

My sisters name is Sarah so I kind of biased towards the name. As for Saira i prefer it pronounced SAIR-a.

To be honest, unless you have heritage in Arabic-speaking countries, Saira looks tryndeigh, misspelled, and kreyativ. Sarah "Sairy" is perfectly fine.SIE-rah sounds horrible to me, sorry, but yes, Cyra would be easier (though you'd probably get KIE-rah).

The thing is, I don't say Sarah like SAIR-a. It's more like SA-ruh. So in this case, Arabic or not, I think Saira "Sairy" would make more sense. Thanks for your imput. :)
