I like it!

I have been thinking about posting on this name. I have a friend whose boyfriend's name is Galen. It's a very interesting name and not at all common. I think it's kind of neat. It does sound like a trendy name, but it isn't. That would be my only complaint about it really.

I think I met a boy named Galen. I don't really like the way it looks or sounds. It reminds me of Gale + an N added. And I see to many -n names lately!

It means crazy in Swedish, and unfortunately it's impossible for me to like it because of that.

I LOVE it. For a boy only, mind you. :)

I can't see it as a name at all since it means "crazy" in Swedish..so all I can think about is "han är galen" (he is crazy).

It just sounds a bit "bleh" to me. I wouldn't give his name a second look, but I wouldn't be repulsed by it either.

It isn't overly popular, so it has that going for it.

I like it. It's not popular and it has a nice sound and look to it.
