It's kind of a guilty pleasure of mind that I always mentally pair with Todd. Both are kind of yuppie names to me, but I still like them because of how much they remind me of the Beatrix Potter characters Mr Tod and Tommy Brock. :-) And I think that's adorable. So outside of the context of real life usage, I like them a lot.

I know a Brock who is a kind of pompous Philosophy major here at my school, so I do not have a very good impression of it.

Its similarity to the word "brick" gives me impression of someone who would be rather unintelligent.

I kind of like it. I know a boy who is named Brock, but his last name starts with the sound "lee" so I only hear Broccoli, otherwise I like the name.

Every part of it sounds ugly. The B, the Br, the o, the ock, the ck. The Brock. Also it sounds like ripping fabric. Or ripping flatulence.

It's ok, I used to like it more than I do now. It seems a bit pretentious and trying-to-be-trendy to me now. I do have a far-removed cousin by this name, and he has a sister named Logan. :b

I really disliked Brock as a name, but then I met a kid named Brock and he is adorable. So I guess it works for someone else's kid

It always makes me think of broccoli, which I like, but not what I want to think about when I hear a name. It's the same reason I hate Beatrice. It makes me think of beets, which I hate, so it's even worse than Brock.

It always reminds me of the Pokemon character. It's okay - I wouldn't mind seeing it used, but it's not something I would consider.

Its ok, its my nephew's name (Brock Mitchell) I'd only ever use it as a mn if I had to.

I went to school with a guy named that. I never liked the name at all and when he said he drove drunk (mind you he was in high school) I liked it even less.

Brok means 'chunk' in Dutch, so I'd be like naming your kid Chunk to me.
