WDYTO Polaris?
I stumbled across this one a couple of days ago and I'm really liking the sound of Polaris on a girl. I used Leona Polaris for one of my triplet sets when we did the big multiple post the other day and I really like that combo, can you think of any others?

Its not really my style but I like the sound of it for a boy or girl but the Polaris Missile association puts me off it a bit.

Polaris is a snowmobile. So that's all I think of. It's like naming your kid Yamaha or Kawasaki to me. Although, Polaris is a star, or something star related, which is a nice connection. I'm not up on my astronomy.

I love it. Actually, I was turned onto the name in a roundabout way. There was a woman named Polaire, who was a famous beauty in turn of the 20th century Paris. Polaire is the French form of Polaris.I love the idea of naming someone after the North Star. Sadly, this name has not been well received when I have suggested it in the past. But for what it's worth you've really made me smile. I'm not crazy. Someone else likes it too. :-)Leona Polaris is nice, but I think Leonie Polaris ("LEE-uh-nee" or "LAY-uh-nee") flows better. Or even Leontine Polaris? I do love that Leo has a subtle astrological connection to Polaris. How about:Astraea Polaris ("a-STRAY-a") (Click on Astraea for a cool meaning)
Ursula Polaris (Little Dipper-ish?)
Thalia Polaris
Io Polaris
Gaia Polaris
Leandra Polaris
Leda Polaris
Lydia Polaris

Oh, the GP potential of Polaris! Actually, I think I could deal with it as an actual middle name on an actual child, although I think I prefer it on a boy.
