Cute twins, horrible names
I was at work today and a woman came through line with two adorable little boys. They were twins and dressed alike, in cute little blue jeans, plaid shirts, and workboots. They were so cute that I knew I shouldn't have asked about their names. I knew everything would be ruined. But, I asked anyway. They were named Marcel and Marcil. Why?!

Ugh..that is one thing that I certainly have a real problem with. Not only would such similar names be terribly confusing for people when they go to school, it would also be highly embarrassing for them. It's almost cruelty imo. :-(!!!!!!!! Ribron, Merika, Cira, Vodar, Varena "Ena", Anderven, Keslad and Tolian.
---- Lidana, Palin, Vidra and Tonet.

I think that twins should have very far apart names.Never ryming or even starting with the same letter. It's enough that they have to share looks or just birthdays. They are two different people and their names should be their own too.Marcel and Marcil are names I am not very fond of but maybe if they were Hispanic and the parents wanted their names to be Hispanic names. The names are to close.Maybe Markel and Marcil would have been a bit better.

Marcel and Marcil are way too close. I like Marcel but not Marcil.

Twinsy namesI don't mind twinsy names in general, like Leon and Noel, or David and Jonathan. But I can't understand people who give twins (or siblings at all) very similar or rhyming names. It will be confusing, not cute. And I think twins need to know they are different individuals, therefore they should not have almost the same name, or exactly the same clothes. Though they might prefer to have exactly the same clothes themselves.Maybe one twin can call himself Marc and the other Cil!

Oh dear... just wait, when they learn to talk there is going to be some major confusion about their names....
