I'd pronounce Evgenia ev-JEN-ee-a. Evie is probably the most obvious nn but Eve, Gina, Genny, Gen, Eva, Nia, Genie, etc. could also work.
I think I actually prefer Evgenia :). I've never heard of it before, but it's very striking. Eugenia has always sounded (for lack of a better word) gross to me. The GEEN sound just literally sends shivers down my spine. I love Eugenie (prn. oo-zhen-EE) though! Strange.
