Saga
I love this name, but I honestly can't see it on a person. At all. I don't even like it for a GP-mn. What are your thoughts about Saga?

I like the name Saga for a little girls middle name!
It just doesn't seem like a name to me. I think of the word "saga" (sah-gah) and even worse, I think of the Sega commercials with the voiceover yelling "Sega!" (say-gah) Not sure how Saga is pronounced, but I'm assuming it's like "saga" but either way, it also reminds me of Sega. :b (Say all that 3 times fast, lol)
This is actually one of my favorite names, mostly because of the meaning and because it goes with our Scandinavian last name. The pronunciation is not as mellifluous as some popular names, but I think that helps the name grow up with the child. I think it makes a nice contrast to all the Amelias and Olivias.
My husband loves it too, so if I can ever convince him that he also loves small children, I'm sure we would name our daughter Saga.

Not for me - in the UK, it's the name of a company that specializes in insurance/holidays for retired people.
oh yeah, forgot about that!
Agree
That was my first thought too, lol

I've seen it as a surname, but I really dislike the sound. It is strange, but I do think it's useable if you like it enough.
I don't even like the sound of the word. It sounds gross, like gagging or gargling.
Saga is a long, usually made up legend about a Scandinavian god to me and can't see it as a name.
I would love to meet a Saga. Such a beautiful meaning!
I think is a very childish name, but it's pretty. Here in Swden it's very common (place 18)
I have no problems at all to see it on a person.
