AH-ma is better, but I suspect that many people who see this name will prn it AY-ma. If you want people to use the former prn, perhaps spelling the name as Auma would be best.

ah-ma...Because Aim-ah seems really contrived and unnatural. She'd get Ah-ma either way.

I would be more likely to pronounce it Ah-ma. And actually prefer the sound of that.
