Tunes (edited)
Daddysdancer reminded me of this with her thread about girl names that don't end in 'a'.
I was reading a book a few years back in which there was a girl named Tunes. WDYT? Do you think it could be used as a name? I was going to ask about it a while ago but forgot. Sabrina, do you like it?
ETA: You can tell me you hate it without feeling bad. I don't really like it, personally. I just thought it was interesting.

Don't like it and seems like a nn.
I admit, I really don't like it.
It sounds like a woman's casual nickname, like Jules, Mags, etc. I guess the appropriate full name would be Petunia (or Tuna? >.>)?
I don't dig it. It feels contrived to me.

Eh, that one's a little fishy...
The Tuna one, I mean.
I don't know if Tunes was actually a nickname. The girl was a slave in the south around the time of the Civil war, if I recall correctly, and that was the only thing she was called.

It's nms (suprisingly). I have seen Tune on a girl, I do like Lyric, Melody, and a few others though. I think it can be used, but I'd see it on other kids, not mine though.
