Taiesha
My best friend told me they saw this name in the paper today and thought of me.
She thought it would be a good way to honor me if she ever had a girl, she has 2 boys.
I kind of like it but would never use it. What do you think?
For those who are interested her boys names are Thomas Ryan and Jackson Shane.

In America, this is primarily an African American name, and I personally have encountered it in three different sibsets/twinsets with the sibling Aisha (yes, twins Aisha and T'Aisha. Ick.). Sometimes it's spelled T'Ayesha, Taiyesha, Tiyesha, or Tayesha; spelling usually is linked to how sib's name Aisha has been spelled.
It's reasonable for this to be an honoring name for you, especially if it reminds your best friend of you.

It looks akward, Taisha would look better. It's nice that she wants to honour you, I think I'd like Taisha as a mn, but not Taiesha.
IMO - it's too many vowels smushed together.
I don't like it at all.
Her intentions are lovely though.
