Re: Ronan
in reply to a message by Rosie
When my mother says Ronan with a soft, Gaelic "r" I swoon. Very handsome in any accent. The only slight down side is it seems to get lost in all of the two-syllable male names ending in an "-n" sound that seem to be everywhere right now. But Ronan is wonderful and shouldn't be overlooked on this account.

I always think of Eragon, even though his brother was Roran. But I like the name Ronan. It's unique compared to what most people are doing nowadays.

Hehe, Roran was always my favourite character. Eragon was way too much the stereotypical hero.

well I don't know about Eragon, but Ronan's a centaur in Harry Potter
