Stephen looks like it's pronounced STEE-fen (in fact I can't say it any other way in my mind and have to force myself to change it when I say it out loud). Plus, Steven is the name of my brother *and* the name of the guy I'm going on a date with on Sunday, so it's far more familiar to me.
