I know a little boy named Shandon. He is a student where I teach (para ed) and he is the most loving, adorable boy there ever was. I'd adopt him in a minute. So that makes me like the name Shandon more, but Sandon is just very unattractive and difficult to say.

There's a town near here called Sandon but you don't say it like "Sand on"

Maybe it's something wrong with me but I like it. I don't think it really sounds like 'sand on' when you say it.

This name would be exceedingly funny with any middle name. Say it was James. Sandon James...sand on James? Why is there sand on James? Is he at the beach?

Hopefully his last name wasn't something like Beach or Desert.
