Cute Sibset and Strange BA
I was watching the "Ellen" show today and she was talking again about the dog situation and the sisters to whom she gave the dog, Iggy. The sibs' names are Ruby and Zoe. While not totally my style, I think they're adorable together if perhaps a bit too similar in sound. WDYT of Ruby and Zoe as sibs?
Also, in my local paper I was reading the birth announcements. Most of them were ordinary and even boring but one stood out: Makin Zee Faith! I assume this is a female because of Faith, but what on earth is Makin Zee? Making the faith? Ideas, anyone?
Edited to correct spelling.

I have grown to really like the name Zoe. It was my mother's name and due to that fact, it's my daughter's middle name. It's an ancient name, the Greek form of "Eve", meaning "life". There's nothing clumsy or overcutesy about it, in my opinion. If there had been, I would never have given it to my daughter, mother's name or not.
I've recently come to really like Ruby also. It sounds so fresh and different. So all in all, I really like this sibset.

Isn't it just a kreatyiv Mackenzie?
That has to be it.
Hmmm ... you may be right. The names weren't hyphenated so Mackenzie never occurred to me. So this chld will go through life as Makin Zee? Yikes!
Edited to say Makin was the "correct" spelling, lol.

Good. Gravy.
Yeah makes me think of someone saying "Making the faith" in a fake French accent.
Also, if I saw Makin but itself I would prononce it Mak-in assuming Zee is the middle name.
