Donnabella...WDYT?
I heard this a bit ago, and I have to admit that I quite like the sound of it (and surprisingly so does my husband).
So, what does everyone think? I think it's rather pretty, and din't realize until today whn doing some reading that Bella donna is the nightshade plant and connected the two. What images does it give all of you?

I don't think Donnabella flows very well. Belladonna is nice when you forget that plant-association.
in addition to the Nightshade thing, Belladonna also means beautiful woman.
I think it flows better this way, but there's nothing wrong with Donnabella either!
The deadly plant association is alright with me. There are much worse associations out there than a plant that, if handled wrong, can kill.

I actually like Belladonna better than Donnabella, despite the deadly nightshade thing (although I think Belladonna can be used as a medicine as well, there's a reference to it in Little Women), but that's probably just because you hear Belladonna more often than Donnabella, so it feels more natural. I get an image of an Italian opera singer from both names, just coz I played a character called Belladonna in a play once lol.
