A school in the West Midlands, England has 8 sets of twins in one year. They're aged approx 11. Their names aren't particularly imaginative, unfortunately.

I don't find it particularly unfortunate at all that their names aren't "imaginative." There's absolutely nothing wrong with choosing a name that has come into regular usage, IMO, and considering how far "imagination" can take people, I'm fairly pleased to see these names.
Amirah and Hafsah - how sweet! I know this really annoying Hafsah though, so it kinda ruins it for me.
Charlotte and Amy - eh
Charlotte and Gabrielle - fine for someone else
Charlotte and Shannon- another Charlotte? Sheesh.
Boys:
Daniel and James - nice
Boy and Girl:
Daniel and Rebecca - nice
Joshua and Katie - dislike Katie
Luke and Hollie - nms but fine
None of them are really cutesy, and I applaud them for that :) Though I agree, not very imaginative.
