Rune

I actually met a girl named Rune - and it suits her!
Quite lovely. But I've always personally prefered it as a Boys [mn].

I keep thinking of prune (dried plums). As a nn it would be okay, but I think I would like it better on a boy.

I like Rune on a boy. I agree, I see it as a boy's name too. It sounds masculine to me, and it technically is a boy's name I guess. The feminine form is Runa, which I think is nice for girl.

I'd use it for a boy, but I think it suits either. It was on my PNL before the purge, and seeing it here might make me add it again.

Gah!I'm a Dane and here, as well as all the other Nordic countries, it IS and will always, be a boys name. I went to school with a boy, same class for years, with that name. She should have been named Runa, instead, which is the feminine form for it.

That is a really cool word name, I'm adding it to my list. I think it sounds more masculine too, but I can see it on both a boy and a girl. It has a really cool meaning too.
