I think it's a beautiful name; too bad it doesn't seem so popular anymore. Iris Scottish all the way!

I like it. It doesn't seem to be very popular on the polls for some reason.

I don't care for it. It reminds me of the style that I consider names like Isabelle, Gabrielle, and others to fall under: the quasi-elegant but unoriginal category. It has taste certainly but it's not a name I prefer.

I love Jacqueline, as it my mom's fn, and my daughter Laura's mn, but we spelled it Jacquelyn.

I love the name Jacqueline. But I find the name Effie even more intriguing. Is that your real name? Is it short for anything? It's very cute.

Thank you :)Effie is my full first name; my parent's chose it in memory of a close family friend who was also just Effie.

I like it a lot. I think it's a lovely name. However, I cannot stand the nn Jackie. I like Jacqueline on its own.

Bleh .... It's really popular for my age group, and it just seems so tired to me. I know loads of Jacqueline's. The sound isn't pretty at all imo._____________________________________________________________________Elinor"Well-behaved women rarely make history."

I LOVE it! It was a favorite for a long time. I wanted to use it to honor my mom, who really wanted to name me Jacqueline, but my dad said no. I think it's beautifulAuntie to: Robert, Brady, Juliana & Sophia.

One of my best friends is named Jaquelyn (yes, the ending is -lyn instead of -line). We call her Jack for short, because she doesn't like Jackie. I like it, but I don't know if I would ever use it. Maybe as a mn.

I know a Jacqueline nn Jackie, so I'm biased. I like her, and her name as well :-)

I like it a fair bit, but I like it moreso when pronounced the French way (zhahk-LEEN). That's as close as I can render the prounciation in English anyway, does it seem close enough?Anyway, although the name is nice enough I wouldn't use it myself, mainly because I don't really like its nn's. Most of them seem dated imho. However, I wouldn't hesitate to use it as a mn, say if it fitted perfectly with a first name I was to use.

I've never been a big fan. It might work as a mn, but I dislike the nn Jackie and Jacquline is too long for a fn imo without a nn. :b

I love it, I think it's dignified and will grow well, and has Jacqui as a cute nickname.:-)
