I like Arabella very much. It doesn't really work with my surname, however. Possible nns: Ara, Ari, Bella, Ella, Ellie.

Other female sib names: I picture something equally flowing and feminine such as Sophia, Georgia. Eliana, etc. With male sib names, I'd have to give that some thought.

I try to like it, because it's a route to the nn Ara (which I love), but it's too fussy for me.

My favorite nns are Ara, Bella, and Belle.

I dislike it because it's another -bella name and they really annoy me. I hate nn Bella, it just sounds obnoxious to me, but I suppose that could probably change if I met a nice one.

Old-fashioned names like Sylvia, Adelaide, Alice etc. go well I think, but I'm not really a fan of making sibsets "match".

I used to hate Arabella, but now I like it and I can't understand why. It's so incredibly flowery and feminine, but I still love it. It's almost a GP.

Rosamund and Justine spring to mind as sibling names, but they're from my old Arabella combo.

I really like Arabella, its so much prettier and unusual than Isabella. I like the nns Caitlin suggested. I would probably call and Arabella Ari or Belle personally.

I love Arabella. It's one of my favourites. It's beautoful, but it doesn't have that frilly touch most "-bella" names have.

I love Arabella. It is the only 'frilly' name I like, and I would use it one day. My cousin has a daughter named Arabella and she goes by Ari and never Bella. I hate Bella but love Ari.

Arabella seems a bit frilly to me, but it's an ok name.
I don't like Bella at all, other nns: Ella, Elly, Arella (although it isn't great imo), Abella, Ara (although it's a bird), Rabel (kind of like Rebel, if she turns out to be a bit of a tomboy :)
