I don't think they sound too similar and they won't be that closely related. I have relatives - one had a baby girl Emma and her sister had Emily a few months later. To me, they are very similar sounding and more closely related but I don't think it causes too many problems.

My only problem with the name Caoimhe is that many people might have a problem spelling or pronouncing it, unless you are in Ireland or have Irish family. I think it's a lovely sounding name though.
