I prefer it to Chantel(le) and Chanel, which it reminds me of. But I'm still not crazy about the sound, and it has an air of 'snobbiness' to me, too. :-/
I know a young girl named Chantal-Renee.(She uses both names together. and Renee should have an accent , but I can't make my keyboard do it.)
