Espi

Ok as a nn but I hope it was a nn for Esperanza. Just Espi makes me think of "espionage" when I read it.
Espen is also a Norwegian boy's name.

I know an Esperanza that goes by Espie (sp?). I think it's cute, as long as it's a nn.
A nn for Esperanza... I hope.
I have an acquaintance named Esperanza, she's usually called Esper. Don't know if this annoys her or not!
I hope it's only a nn for Esperanza... still, I hate it, it sounds really silly.

I'm not sure about it. If it's es-PEE it's a bit unfortunate, and if it's es-PY then it's a word (espy). It also makes me think a little of the childrens' game "I Spy". It's kind of a cute-sounding name but I'm just not sure about it!

I don't care for it, either. The only other "Espy" I know of are the sports awards on ESPN. :b
