I must say I have to agree. I would rather see a little Destiny than a made up name or something ending in -ayden. I think Destiny is alright, just not one of my favorites. Although I love word names and absolutely adore Genesis and Charisma, it is in the end the child who makes the name, not the image. A very reserved woman could be named Bambi or Kitty or Desirae or Nevaeh. And a stripper could pick the name Iris. To me, the name Destiny seems, well, as normal as Brittany or Amanda. Nothing "lower class" about it. But I suppose I am from a Midwestern working class community, so maybe that's why. But I agree, some names get a bad reputation for no reason.
