I really like this name, and where I live I hear it a lot. Our county has a high population of Peurto Rican immigrants, and apparently it's popular among them.

I don't like it.

I'm assuming it sounds like Ann + Jeanette, which seems a silly concoction to me. Or I guess it could be Anja (AHN-yah) + Nette, but that's not any better. :-/

It's my cousins name, same spelling and all. She generally goes by AJ though. It's an okay name.
