Names of Irish Saints
I'm looking for Irish names that are also saints' names. So far I only have Dymphna and Ninian. I'd love more!

Wikipedia has this list of Irish saints who (presumably) mostly have Irish names or Anglicized Irish names. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Irish_saintsThat's as good a place to start as any. :-) There's a Mael Ruba listed on that page; I had a female friend in high school named Mael, which I thought was pretty and interesting.

Thanks, I should have done a more through search.Dymphna, however, is too hilarious for words.
"Honey, you were named after the patron saint of lunatics."

Hee hee!A friend of mine was having some kind of argument with her mother around the time that she was confirmed, and she chose Dymphna as her confirmation name to irritate her mother for just that reason. I'm not kidding, either!
