I like it, it is charming in my opinion but many people don't seem to like it especially due to the Shrek movies.

I don't like it. I see it as a bit anaemic. Maybe I am biased because it's my cousin's name and when I was growing up her parents compared me to her all the time(to my detriment). It was also very popular in the area I live in in the late '70s which always puts me off.

I love it! It's on my short list. I don't care about shrek, it's not like it's that great. It came out years ago. It's spunky, feminine, and timeless. Sometimes' it's said fae-ona. Which is very fairy like. (fae means fairy) It's similar to Phoebe, which I also love. There is Caitriona, which is Irish and it's pronounced Ka-tree-oh-na. And there's another Irish name pronounced Chee-ona and it's isn't spelled how it sounds. (and it's not Cheona)

I think it's really nice. I love the meaning. Unfortuately it's now associated with an animated alien princess...

I don't really like it, I don't see the appeal of it. It's not a bad name though...

I think it has a strong sound. It is pretty, but nothing that particularly strikes me. I'd like to see it on someone else's child.
