Topher is a character in A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers. it is surely the worst book i've ever read and had no plot, climax, or really anything that demonstrated the slightest bit of literary skill. There is nothing wrong with the name Topher, i just have bad associations with it, so i personally wouldn't use it. but it's a normal enough name.
