It's cute and all.. and was the name of my first teddy bear. No one could work out where I'd heard it from, and I still don't know to this day why I did. Strange, Bruno was a brown bear. A name nerd from the beginning, what with my sisters calling there's Ted and Blue Bear.

I like it, but for a dog.
I just can't picture it on a human.

this is my hamsters name. she is a girl and not brown. i love the name though. i couldn't call my child it now though lol

I use to hate it since "brun" is Swedish for brown and I thought it was more appropriate for a dog than a person. But lately I'm starting to like it. I lived in France last year and it's quite popular there and I actually started to consider it to be a "real" name. I would never use it but I think it's cute on others.
