Vivian
What do you think of the name Vivian on a girl? Do you prefer the spelling Vivian or Vivienne? And what is your opinion on the name Viviana?

I think Vivian is a very pretty name, but I prefer the spelling Vivien because that's how it is generally spelled in Arthurian legend and I'm a nerd.

Vivien (this spelling) is my grandmother's middle name, I like it, but I prefer Vivian / Vyvyan- (Cornish spelling) on a boy.I like Viviane 'Vivi-AH-nee' on a girl, I know someone named this :)

I prefer Vivien/Vivian/Vivienne to Viviana. I go back and forth on spellings, but today I like Vivien.

I like Vivienne a lot, but Viviana is my favorite form of the name by far.

I love Viviana.I prefer Vivienne as I see Vivian as the male spelling (I have it on my list as a male name).

I love Vivian / Vivienne. I go back and forth on the spellings, I really like both. But Vivienne just looks a bit nicer to me, even though I'm not a fan of alternate spellings in general (even though it's a legit one, it's not the most 'well known', I guess). Viviana is too frilly for me. Sounds like the name of a heroine in a romance novel, lol. But Vivian or Vivienne, esp. with nn Vivi, is lovely, IMO.

I like Vivian, but I love Vivienne. However, I don't pronounce Vivian and Vivienne the same and I don't consider them to just be different spellings of the same name... I consider them to be different/separate names altogether.I also love Viviana...as well as Viviane (which I pronounce the same as Vivianne).

Vivian is the only spelling I like, I don't like the others. Vivien and Vivienne remind me of Vienna. And I dislike the way Viviana sounds. But I love the name Vivian, it's very beautiful and feminine.

Vivian is very pretty! I prefer the spelling Vivienne, but in the past I did like Vivian slightly better. Viviana is gorgeous as well.I've been thinking about Vivianne with the nickname Vianne lately myself : )
