Dominic or Dominick?
Which do you prefer? I think I'm leaning toward Dominic. And would you rather see nn Nick/Nicky used for Dominic/Dominick or for Nicholas/Nickolas/etc?

Dominic for me
Though I can definitely see the use of Nick (not Nic) as a nn. I love Nick, yet don't care for Nicholas at all (Scarlett says I'm a "weirdie").
As far as the whole K thing goes, appropo of nothing, I do know of one sibset of three brothers; their parents did a neat thing (I think) with their names: Erik, Dominik and Nikolas (no Cs in any of them). They all have that K element in common, but they didn't use names that all start with K. This is the sort of creative naming I can appreciate, even if I think the spellings strain credulity a tad.

Dominic looks so much better to me. I think Nick/Nicky fits better as a nn for Nicholas/Nickolas.
Dominic without a doubt
Also, I really dislike the nn Nick / Nicky. I would prefer to see Dominic and Nicholas used in their full form. However, if the nn is a must, I would have to say Dominic, because Nick is a different nn than expected (most would expect Dom or something of that sort). But if you are one that doesnt like conflicts with a name (always saying "my name is Nick, short for Dominic, not Nicholas"), I'd go with Nicholas.
I love both names, and in general, I'd like to hear more Dominic's out there (but I'd also love to hear more Nicholas' using their full name)

agree pretty much exactly.
Except I don't love them, I like them pretty well.
