Oceana?
What do you think of Oceana (oh-see-AH-nah)? Its Greek and means 'ocean' and is the feminine form of Oceanus, in Greek mythology Oceanus was a Titan father of rivers and water nymphs.

I think it's a bit weak, actually... kind of like Dreama or a similar name.

How odd, last night (or maybe the night before) I was watching America's Funniest Videos and there was a little baby named Oceana! It got me thinking too.Anyway, I think it's pretty but I probably wouldn't use it. I really like Oceane for a girl and Ocean for either gender too.

Hm... on seeing the name I would have said oh-shee-AH-nah, but that's JMHO.I like it! I think it's very feminine and pretty, and there is a whole host of nice nicknames (Cece, Anna, etc.). It's unique, but not so unique that it gets mocked.Having said that, I wouldn't necessarily use it myself, just because I think names at four syllables are pushing the envelope, depending on the name. Overall, though, it's good.
